My weekend was okay, as long as it lasted. Friday I made it to Anne's after everyone had finished lunch, but they very kindly saved some for me so, while they sat at the table and chatted, I ate a lovely chicken lunch followed by apple pie and cream. The apple pie was so nice, I couldn't resist having a second piece.

Saturday morning I dropped Amanda off for her "scrap-booking" day with plans to enjoy having the house to myself by spending the day painting. On the way home I stopped in at Big W and bought the new Harry Potter book for Amanda then, you gessed it, spent the rest of the day reading it myself!

Sunday Amanda went to visit her brother in hospital and I passed the time at Fremantle Art Centre. I do like going there. Not only can I check out a number of exhibitions at once, but I can partake of the yummy titbits from the cafe as well (even if they are too damned expensive). So, one cappuccino and rhubarb crumble pie and an hour relaxing in the sun later, I picked up Amanda and we went home for dinner.

Monday I was collecting Avon orders. The latest order goes in tomorrow, then it starts all over again.

Today was work in the morning, which was going to be followed by something arty but we went to Subiaco instead. Oh well. Time seems to fly even quicker these days.

All in all, a pretty uninteresting few days, wouldn't you say? Except Friday's lunch, of course.
mood: okayokay

Is the Half blood prince good? I'm penniless at the moment but dying to go and buy it...I even suggested to Chanel we go halves in it!
Was that Anne from Uni you had lunch with?

see you tomorrow,

Yes it is good and Big W are selling it for $22.45.

Yes Anne from uni. Also there, were Barbara, Lindsay (appologies to her for probable wrong spelling) and Merle. Lovely to catch up with them. Also met Anne's son and daughter and lovely dog called (I think) Mutley.
